My Message To The Global Leaders

Dear Global Leaders,
With the world facing Global Warming Controversy about the effect of humans on our environment, here I am writing this to you with the mosquito repeller on in my room even in the mid-November. And let me tell you that I am writing this not from any hot region of the world but Kathmandu. If it's not a global warming that is aiding these mosquitoes to roam free and not undergo hibernation then I don't know what other it can be!
Change is a natural process. But in today's world where concrete jungles are increasing each day with the decrease of natural green jungles, our environment seems to be deteriorating in a rapid manner. The emission of harmful gases from all around the world is not just aiding global warming but also polluting the air we breathe in. I could point out all the facts to justify climate change is real but that does not seem a necessity. I assume a part of every human being knows what we have done to this beautiful world. So let's not focus on who is right and who is wrong. It's more important to focus on what can we do to make it better.
There's no going back in time. Even if there was, there will hardly be any people who want to live a nomadic life like we once did by sacrificing all the luxuries and leading a spartan life. Instead of trying to fix what can't be fixed, we can try making an effort to mitigate the detrimental activities we that we keep doing each day. Now is the high time, leaders should start taking actions in favour of the environment we live in. Now is the time to work for the better world you promised us. If we work together, we can make it happen. Finding the alternate innovative inventions that are eco-friendly, wisely using energy, contributing more greenery in nature and many other things that can be done. Let's put an effort to make this world a better place. We cannot bring back raptors or mammoths, let's at least try to conserve what we have for the many generations yet to come.
With regards,
Pratikshya Pudasaini
